My experience in a new business world.. Hospitals!!! (Part1)

It was Sept 6, 2010. I was using medicines for viral fever prescribed by my family doc. Having felt better that morning, reached campus on time but could not even walk or atleast stand after getting down from the bus. There was a sudden start of stomach ache severely which i never experienced before. Since there were few friends of mine staying in the campus, reached one of their rooms to sleep for sometime.. As the time passed, i could literally see hell. Felt like something or somebody is playing with my body with every body part paining to the extreme level.. Everything looked so glared and fuzzy!! Felt as though life was leaving me!!!! Gathered all the strength i had and got up.. my body was like a heated pan!Walked towards the door and started walking towards ECC. God knows which part of my brain or heart suggested to trust the Apollo Clinic there..

Again, there was a hell of wait there.. Could not sit, stand.. was falling down.. Could not even eat or drink from the previous night and it showed it's effect as well!! Finally got my call from the doc.. Her assistant checked my BP and Temperature.. "Its 104" she said. I tried to tell her my symptoms.. The lady not even having touched me, asked to call up my mom and name all the tabs i was using from past 2 days for viral fever. After listening, she recommended to use the same tablets and thats it!! It was done!! No check up, No test, Nothing!! I was done.. Summary of this appointment was to find out whether the medicines i was using were good or not!!! Oh god.. i was going to fall down.. She then asked me to have some juice and then those tablets. She then forwarded a medical leave for the next 3 days to the HR and asked me to go home and rest.. Atleast something useful was done there..! With difficulty reached OFC and ordered Chikoo and mango juices. After having half of the first juice, there was a vomit and with unbearable pain. Took up my phone, called the Orange cabs and booked a cab then.

The three hour drama of my hospitalization.. Continued in Part2

P.S: This is MY experience and my personal view. May be the doctors, hospitals are the best in world. But this is truely what happened with me..
